Choco Chip Ice Cream



Someone rightly said    "Chocolate is nature's way of making up for Mondays". 

My family is big fan of Ice-Cream , and this forces me to try various flavours. Husband asked for choco chip ice-cream and trust me, the results are YUMM !!!.. Your children will gonna love it..

Try the recipe and do write your valuable inputs..

so here we go... 

Pls keep in mind - all utensils, mixer, blender should be dry, to avoid forming of ice-flakes

Ingredients:

  • Full Cream Milk - 0.5 L
  • Sugar - 3.5 tablespoon
  • Milk Powder - 3 tablespoon
  • Corn Flour - 1 tablespoon
  • GMS Powder - 1.5 tablespoon
  • CMC Powder - 3 pinch
  • Choco chips 
Method:

  • In Small bowl, take out some milk and boil the remaining milk in a deep vessel (when later on mixture will be added, milk keep rising up).
  • Now add Sugar, Milk Powder, Corn Flour, GMS and CMC in small bowl with the milk. It will turn into fine paste, make sure that no lumbs are formed.
  • Mix this paste to the boiling milk and keep stirring it for about 10-15mins on low flame.
  • Turn of the flame and let it cool down completely.
  • Once cooled. Transfer it into air tight container, cover it with cling paper and freeze it for 3-4 hours.
  • After, 3-4 hours, take out the container from freezer and churn it, cover it with cling paper and freeze again. Repeat this process atleast 3 times, to make the ice-cream more creamy and fluffy.
  • After last churning of ice-cream add desired amount of choco chips and mix with spoon (do not churn after adding choco chips)  
  • Wrap the container again with cling paper and freeze it again for another 8 hours. Let the ice-cream set.

Your ice-cream is all ready to rock among the others !

  • GMS(Glycerol monostearate) is a food additive used as a thickening, emulsifying, anti-caking, and preservative agent. It is responsible for giving ice cream and whipped cream its smooth texture.
  • Carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is used for stabilising the ice-cream.

Almond Ice Cream

Kiwi White Chocolate Mousse Cake

Have called up guests for tomorrow's lunch. Ok, starters and main course decided.. But what should be the dessert.. hmmm.. not in a mood to bake either, whats in the fridge, Kiwis.. oh great, lets make Kiwi Mousse Cake.. The white chocolate is so soft, smooth and silky. This cake just completely melts in your mouth!  If you dont want biscuit layer, one can replace the biscuit layer with basic vanilla sponge cake.  The guests are here next day, and this cake turned out to be big hit!!  Lets start the preparation Ingredients : For the biscuit base Digestive Biscuits - 20 in nos Butter - 70 gms For the white chocolate mousse White chocolate - 200 gms Whipping cream - 350 gms (divided into two parts 200+150) Gelatin - 1 tbsp  Water - 4 tbsp For the kiwi layer Kiwi - 3 in number Sugar - 1/4 cup Gelatin - 1 tbsp  Water - 4 tbsp Method : Grease an 8 inch round spring form pan and keep aside.   For the biscuit layer 1.    Break the
